DINAMIKA KOMUNIKASI KELUARGA DALAM NARASI FILM ”LUCA” MELALUI PERSPEKTIF KONSTRUKTIVISME

This study aims to examine the dynamics of family communication in the film Luca (2021) through the lens of constructivism. The film depicts intergenerational conflict within a protective family, as well as the process of identity formation of the main character through social interaction.
This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a constructivist paradigm. Analysis is conducted by combining Vladimir Propp's narrative structure and Beth A. Le Poire's family communication theory.
The results indicate that communication between Luca and his parents undergoes a transformation, shifting from patterns of control and fear toward a more open and empathetic approach.
The film Luca represents that family communication is dynamic and influenced by individual experiences and social contexts.
This study reinforces the role of film as a space for constructing intergenerational family communication. These findings contribute to the development of media studies, interpersonal communication, and family pedagogy, and open up opportunities for further research in different cultural contexts.
